    Thank you, @Rubytoo - I appreciate everyone's advice very much!

    We actually don't have much snow left at this point, but it's been an abnormally mild winter with a bit of a snow drought.  We usually have snow on the ground well into April, and I've seen snowstorms in early May in my lifetime.  Nothing like what those poor people in northern California have dealt with the last few years, though.  Six feet of snow from one storm is just ridiculous. :#
