Seed / Turf

-
- recently moved into house. Garden neglected
- large amount of overgrown bushes / trees removed from left side (blocking sun as south west facing
- fence going on left boundary
- do I seed / turf the new section on left?
- any other considerations?

Any advice much appreciated

Birds do like their seeds for breakfast. I would turf.

The problem with turfing an area adjoining established lawn is that it’s rare for the shades of Green to match so the strip is always visible. However if you use grass seed you can sprinkle some of tge seed over the already established areas, so that the newer and older grass areas blend.
