Zig zag crocus

Sorry for the poor picture but the camera on my phone is a bit dodgy!
These are crocus Prince Claus growing in a pot and as you can see some of the leaves are zig zaggy.
They have flowered well so not a problem but I’m wondering why. Funny thing is that also in the pot is prunus kojo no mai, which has zig zaggy branches.
I can’t believe that there is a connection but what a strange coincidence!
The crocus are fine elsewhere in the garden.
Any thoughts?

I’ve seen that happen when the sheath that surrounds the leaves and flower bud as they push through the soil doesn’t open early enough and the leaves don’t have room to grow straight,  so they’re bent within the sheath  … I put it down to lack of moisture.

Thank you @Dovefromabove, that could explain it, although it's been raining here since Christmas except the last few weeks. perhaps the prunus kept the rain off, but it's not very big or bushy.
