I've never seen that size @Plantminded, so that's good to know - thanks  :)

I've just bought a new tin of Ducksback though.... :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

We always used Ronseal Forest Green. I'm colour blind, so left the choice to the wife.
However, I found the fence needing to be done every other year. Except for the tops. With the wind, rain, birds, cats, squirrels and foxes, those parts needed doing each year.
I guess the price reflects that.

But it was always what the wife wanted, so on it went, without fail.

Now, having moved, we have hedges, which thankfully, don't need painting. And there's no way I'm permitted to even attempt to use a hedge trimmer. I'd either take one of my body parts off, or that of a neighbour.
The options? Manual trimmers/clippers, hire someone else to do it, or prevail upon the wife!
In order to have a decent looking hedge, I think paying someone will be the answer.
That can leave me free to - eat the chocolate biscuits!!😁😁
Once I get my teeth in!!🙄

Homebase are doing 3 for 2 at the moment @Fairygirl so you could stock up for next year😊.
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.
