Scale insects on Anthurium

What is the best way to treat this plant. I've neglected the poor thing and the veins of the leaves are covered in brown scale insects. Any suggestions very welcome

I use cotton wool with some methylated spirits to wipe the leaves and stems on my potted Oleanders. A bit fiddly and time consuming, but the more you catch the longer the effect lasts. I always manage to miss a few though!
  • Try spraying horticultural oil, insecticidal soap or neem oil on your plants. These products can suffocate or kill scale insects and their eggs, while also preventing fungal growth. Make sure to cover all parts of the plant, especially the undersides of the leaves. Avoid spraying plants in direct sunlight or high temperatures because it can cause leaf burn. Repeat spraying every 7 to 10 days until there are no signs of scale insects.
