What's wrong with my viburnum?

It was covered in flowers last year but this year seems to be going brown over most the bottom branches and barely has any flowers. I thought they were meant to be easy shrubs to grow!  :'(

It could be frost damage but some leaves also have leaf spot which can be fungal or bacterial. The good news is you don't have Viburnum beetle. I would cut the affected branches but there are people here with better knowledge that can give you better advice.

Do you have a dog / cat / other wildlife in the garden ? They maybe urinating on it cause the scorch effect on the front of the shrub

The neighbours cat visits sometimes... It seems more widespread than that though... The upper branches are not the same dark green they used to be  :/
