What ate the leaves laurel?
Planted last year. It was fine in December.

    Did the leaves disappear very suddenly as though something ate them or did they dry up and fall off over time? I ask because you said it was OK in December. Was it still OK last week?

    I moved to a house where the previous owner's 2 pygmy goats had eaten the leaves of 2 cherry laurels, yet I have read that deer don't eat them. Do you have deer?

    Muntjac eat them, they eat anything.

    The leaves were eaten. Yes we have deer raccoons foxes that we know of.
