All those animals such as rhino and elephants and pangolins and seahorses and sharks that are believed to be "medicinal" . :'(

It's infuriating and governments in China, Vietnam, Cambodia and so on could do so much more to educate their citizens about the horrors of animal based "medecines" and the damage their acquisition is doing to wildlife populations and the environment, not to mention the dreadful practice of farming live bears for their bile.

And the thousands of donkeys for their hides, which I see today that many of the African nations have signed up to stop.....we shall see.

It’s so saddening, frustrating and dis-heartening that even today, when we are supposedly “more enlightened”, such atrocities continue in order to create so called “medicines” that are claimed to do such wonderful things for the human body. Obviously, big money is being made, or these dreadful cruelties would not happen.
Educating the people who buy these “medicines” is the only way to stop it, I think, but whilst it is a lucrative trade, resistance to doing so will be huge - money speaks volumes.

I've been fortunate enough to see Pangolins in the wild and they excited me more than any of the bigger animals except the painted dogs.
