Rose cuttings

Hi, I took rose cuttings last year and they have all rooted. Can I transfer them from pot to garden or should I wait? They all have leaves growing on them too so should I remove these (as you would do for a more established rose) or leave for now? Thanks in advance.

I would leave them to grow on in pots for a good while before they’re ready to plant out.

If the roots are visible at the pot drainage holes I would pot them up individually for the next 12 months at least.

Unless the leaves show signs of blackspot I would leave them on the plant.
