Indoor Plant - identification and advice

Hi - I think my plant (inherited) maybe some form of trailing jade but I am struggling to identify it, can anyone help? As you can see from the pictures I am not sure it is in the best health as looks woody and gappy in the middle also has some white spots which look fungal to me. Would love to get some advise on what the issue may be so I can fix. Thanks in advance.

  • Certainly looks like a Money/Jade plant - a succulent anyway.  They don't require a lot of water - not at this time of year anyway.  Check that your pot has adequate drainage and that the root ball is alive and healthy. Gritty soil based medium is best.
You can cut back a lot of the growth ( you can easily make new plants from them if you wish ) and remove any obvious dead stems.  Give it a spot in bright light and turn the pot every few days if necessary for even light.
They can go outside during the summer if you want - shady sheltered spot if possible.
Good luck with reviving it  :)
