Hebe Leaves Turn Brown and Yellow

It is currently summer where I am at. I used to water the hebe Veronica every day from late December to third week of January and have been watering it twice a week since. Could you let me know why the leaves are turning brown and some are turning yellow in some parts brown others.

    I don’t know how old it is but it is pretty established.

    It may be getting too much water. They do like good drainage, so is that suitable?
    Even in hot areas, an established shrub shouldn't be getting watered that often - certainly not daily, so perhpas it isn't suited to the site and your conditions. 
    Having said that, it's not uncommon for parts to die off - and it's a large specimen. Physical damage from wildlife can also cause stems to break  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
