Mandarin Tree

Hello,
Last year I was gifted a mandarin tree. It grew quickly, I feed it as per instruction with summer citrus feed and now winter citrus feed. I moved the tree inside last year when temperatures started to drop and it flowered beautifully! Had 4 small mandarins, but suddenly the fruit dropped and the leaves started to drop. Some leaves I noticed had black tips that spread.
The tree is now in a very sorry state, with no fruit and its green leaves falling.
Does anyone know what’s happened and how I can put it right?
It’s being watered every 10 days, fed once a month, it’s away from the radiators and has natural light.
Any advice is gratefully received.

@Nanny Beach grows lots of citrus… hopefully she’ll see this and be able to help.

Morning Dove and Becky. Hubby was in the room, the citrus are his babies. Right first off, where do you live,? We are in the SE UK warmest corner. He has looked at your pictures, reckons you have scale insect, the black leaves. Have a look underneath, the are really tiny. Leaf drop is most likely temperature. At the end of the day, they are trees, they don't like being indoors. They will stay outside till 10c. They will loose their leaves then, but grow a completely new lot the following spring.  Ours are in frost free greenhouses. Lemons, mandarin and grapefruit. Do you have a garage, unheated room. We don't water very often in winter, maybe every 4/6 weeks. However humidity is very important. They are sprayed regularly. Only the calamondin overwinters in the conservatory, they are very temperature sensitive. Also if you keep them too cosy in winter, you get pests, scale insect and spider mite.
