    There have been some horror stories of people twinscaling expensive snowdrops only to destroy them.
    Joe Sharman who is the breeder of the above snowdrop has another new one coming out this year, which apparently might sell for £1500.

    I would happily sell you a large clump of G.nivalis for £5.

    Anyone for the Dutch tulip craze that bankrupted so many?

    I like my snowdrops simple and white with green bits so I'm very pleased that the ones I brought from my Belgian garden are settling in well here in a north facing bed that gets lots of weather but no direct sun between midday and 6pm.   We're 2 hours ahead of GMT is summer.

    The yellow versions look sickly to me.
