Rose pruning advice please

The first three pictures  are of mature roses that were flowering way too high. I pruned them a bit in the autumn but now I  want to give them a hard prune. I would like some advice on where to prune them.

Arthur Bell

Don't  know  the name of this one. Peachy pink large flowers in clumps scented

The next is dublin Bay. It is extremely  difficult  to train. The stems shoot up vertically about10ft  in a matter of weeks. They will more than often snap off if you try to bend them. Wrong rose for the situation  but my husband  loves it. Would  it be worth pruning it right back and starting  again or sticking with the branches that I  have managed to train?

Wonderful  scent if you're  up a ladder!

Went for it this morning and cut and sawed everything down to 2ft sticks. If that was wrong, it's too late. Left Dublin bay alone for now.

My Arthur Bell, which is still fairly young, behaves like a shub. It isn't as tall as yours. I cut the top third off it, nip off the skinny twiggy bits and the crossing over bits in the middle that rub on each other and cut out the dead bits. Yours looks as though there are some dead bits.

As for Dublin Bay, I would just prune off any side shoots that are coming off the main canes to between 2 and 4 buds. It doesn't look very congested.

Thank you @Busy-Lizzie. I've removed most of the dead bits. The garden is littered with pruning - at least a council binful!

PS. Looked up Arthur Bell to refresh my memory. It can be a floribunda or a climber. Mine must be a floribunda. Maybe yours is a climber as it's tall.

Does anyone ever sit in their sitting corner without spotting a weed?

No  :) OH complains that I never sit in the garden. My sitting corner is on the sitting room sofa, out of reach of weeds.
