Have anyone's crocus bulbs started to push up yet?!

Hi all!

I planted 1000 crocus bulbs on my grassy hill - it has been a bit of a disaster - the crows and jackdaws cottoned on pretty quick and pecked up a lot. I haven't seen any signs of life yet and I'm wondering if they got them all  :#  daffodils are well up now!

Just realised I posted this in fruit and veg - not sure how to move it!

I noticed mine are just budding today. Probably 'Cream Beauty'. I hope you have some left on your hillside. It can be useful to plant them deep to protect from critters.

Some are already in flower locally.
Mine are about 1" above the soil now.

Don't worry about moving your post - we all see it :)

Most are already flowering here. I've stopped planting any more. Something, probably mice, have perfected forensic extraction - barely a ripple on the surface of the soil. Hopefully enough of yours have survived to go forth and multiply😏
P.S.. I once watched a squirrel removing some bulbs less than half an hour after I planted them. He must've been lurking in a tree sniggering.

I've got some in flower already. The earliest I have is C. tommasinianus, and there's a little clump of egg-yolk-yellow ones that's been here since before we bought the house that's always early. Ruby Giant are just starting to show the first hint of colour.

Most of mine are in flower as well, or those that the squirrel didn't manage to find!

I have a pot in flower but they are in a cold frame. The other pot is outside and has just leaves showing.

@Lizzie27 says most of ours are in flower. Not sure if the squirrel is the problem or mice why there aren't more.

Ours are showing but not flowering yet.  The only thing we have out is  some early miniature irises.

I noticed my little patch had emerged when i got in at dusk yesterday afternoon. I'm glad i caught them in the fading light as rain is forecast so i expect them to be flat by the weekend as per their annual tradition...
