Love them all, although I do think the petals on this red one are almost unbelievable. I’m very fond of ‘lemon drop’ as well. I much prefer the doubles to single flowers.
No preference, all colours really.. I don't have any Camellias now unfortunately, but I think a deep red Japonica like this 'Deep Secret' offers outstanding colour. It's parent 'Bob Hope' is even darker and makes an exceptional upright shrub in the right location..
Pale pink for me too. I love the one that @Papi Jo has posted.
It is lovely, I agree, @Busy-Lizzie. I do have a pink camellia but it is more mid-pink and I find it a bit sickly-sweet/garish, somehow. I was wondering what others thought generally.

I love the white ones, but they don't die back well, going a nasty brown.
All camellias usually stop me as I walk along. I do like singles, not doubles.
Yes, good point @fire, about the white ones dying back and losing their colour. I haven't seen any white camellias in the flesh. I am going to have a look online, thanks.
