Not usually a fan of yellow but I find it suits the glossy leaves of the camellia.

Pale pink for me too. I love the one that @Papi Jo has posted.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I love the white ones, but they don't die back well, going a nasty brown.

All camellias usually stop me as I walk along. I do like singles, not doubles.

Pale pink for me, as in Camellia Japonica x williamsii 'Buttons & Bows'!

I think that looks like a lotus or maybe a water-lily. It is lovely, @Papi Jo, I have not seen it before.

The yellow ones seem more unusual, @WonkyWomble, I haven't seen one in the flesh yet. I am going to do some research, thankyou.

It is lovely, I agree, @Busy-Lizzie. I do have a pink camellia but it is more mid-pink and I find it a bit sickly-sweet/garish, somehow. I was wondering what others thought generally.

Yes, good point @fire, about the white ones dying back and losing their colour. I haven't seen any white camellias in the flesh. I am going to have a look online, thanks.
