Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has won a prize from Gardeners World. I was notified at the beginning of January that I had won bird feeders from Earthy Sustainable and that they would be in touch about delivering my prize. As yet I haven't heard anything. I have tried emailing GW, phoned Gardeners World, (the number that was on the email) but just cannot get through to get an answer, no one answers the phone. I have emailed Earthy Sustainable, but haven't heard anything from them either. It is the first win I have had on here so I was so pleased. I know its not the end of the world but I would just like my prize.

Is Earthy Sustainable a genuine company ? I've never heard of it but that doesn't mean to say it doesn't exist. There are so many scams advising people that they have won a prize so it pays to beware.
If no one is responding to the email/phone, it could be a scam and someone trying to get personal details/access to your computer.
Have you tried contacting G W via the access given at the bottom of this page rather than contact via the email you received ? Could either set your mind at rest or make you aware that something is wrong.
Fingers crossed that you get your Bird feeders with no problems.

Back in the 90s we entered a load of caption competitions and the first one we ever won was a circuit breaker (!) from Flymo. It arrived with no covering letter or message of congratulations and I had completely forgotten that months ago I had entered the competition. I sent the thing back to them. Two weeks later I received a letter asking me if I liked my prize.

So, Mrs Donuts, I was in completely the opposite position to you asking the awkward question ‘Can I have my prize back, please.’

Thank you everyone for your replies. I entered the competition through this GW website. There is another competition on here to win bird seeds from Peckish.
philippasmith2 I will try the contact section at the bottom of this page and see what happens. I would have thought that if it is a Gardeners World competition on the GW Website it is not a scam.

I won a £50 voucher for spring bulbs on the GW website. I was emailed a code to use on online shopping by the sponsoring company when they told me I had won. So I think it will be Earthy Sustainable who should be in contact with you to arrange delivery of your prize.

Hi everyone
Just thought I would give an update on my competition win. I have received my prize today and I am very pleased with it. A lovely hanging bird bath and a really nice peanut feeder. It has taken a lot of emails and trying to phone but I eventually got an email reply from a Simon Fulton at GW. He has been brilliant at sorting it all out. What a star.
To be honest it was so long ago that I entered the competition that I couldn't remember what the prize contained. I knew it was bird feeders etc but I didn't know what one they were sending. Anyway, it's all sorted now and my garden birds will happy, and so am I.
