    That is a gorgeous photo, @Palustris, what a lovely surprise . I saw two Red Admiral butterflies on the wing yesterday - the RA can overwinter in parts of the UK I learnt.

    Had 2 bumble bees yesterday buzzing around. Not seen any butterflies yet.

    I saw a few butterflies in December and we had a wasp flying around our garage a couple of days ago.
