Growing Gardenia Indoors(?)

Hi all,
So yesterday I finally received my Gardenia plant that I had purchased online a few days ago from Thompson and Morgan.
It’s in a 9 cm pot, so it is quite small. My first thought was do I need to re-pot this or what?? And then the only other thing I am worried about is that I don’t get much sunlight in the house where I currently reside (South West)? I’ve heard that Gardenias require a lot of bright light? Other than this, any tips and suggestions on how I can be successful in growing this? 🙂
