    I filled in the survey, but I'm not really sure what it's trying to find out. Maybe I'm really not the sort of indoor gardener that's being targeted. I grow houseplants that I water with a watering can, I add feed to the water sometimes, and mist with a hand sprayer occasionally. I start seeds and cuttings on the windowsills when it's too cold to start them outside - for those I sometimes use a heated propagator base, transparent seed tray lids or plastic bags, and sometimes a basic timer grow light that clips onto the edge of the sill. That's it, nothing complicated.

    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
