Potting on geranium seedlings

Hello all - I am very new to growing geraniums from seed!  Seedlings are looking great and it is now time to pot on.  Can I keep them in a potting shed on the window ledge once potted on? Seeds were sown in January and I would like the house window ledge space for more seeds :-)

Depends on where you are in the country , down south you may get away with its quite mild at the moment. I personally wouldn't put newly potted on seedling in the greenhouse at this time of year where I live.

You can put them in the potting shed and bring them back into the house in the evening if the weather mild enough during the day.

Should of said this first , are these Geranium the garden plant or geranium ( pelargoniums ) the bedding plant ?

Thank you for responding.  I am in Broadstairs so very South.  Temperature in potting shed is about 12-24 during the day (obviously depending on the sun) and so far has dropped to 4.5 degrees at night.

They are the bedding plant.  Good idea to bring them in at night whilst I keep an eye on that temperature. :). May be I will get February out of the way first and then check temperature again.

haha - they do say the biggest downfall of a new gardener is impatience ;)

    Thank you.

The biggest problem at this time of year is light - or the lack of it. That makes it harder to create healthy seedlings/young plants, as the seedlings struggle to get enough and become leggy [etiolated] although you'll have slightly more down there than I have, as we have fewer hours of daylight in winter, and more in summer.
It's why sowing early is often not worthwhile, regardless of the plant.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
