Houseplant repotting

Digging-itDigging-it Posts: 117
I have a few houseplants, streptocarpus, peace lily, and a palm like thingy. Can I split and repot them now or should I wait until later in the spring? As expected they’ve been growing slowly over the winter but some of their soil looks old and tired, am I too eager to do some gardening?

I’d leave it for a few weeks. New compost may encourage growth but there’s not a lot of light about just yet. We all get the urge to garden at this time of year. It’s hard won experience that holds me back now.

Thanks for your advice, I’ll just have to hold on for now. My house is an old cottage and good light is always at a premium with small windows. I’m itching to get going though.
