Had my RHS handbook last week and it’s on our list to visit , coincidence! It’s a stones throw away from where we live near Abergavenny ,my cup of Tea as they say ! Thanks Jemula.
We went to Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk today. They have a lot of snowdrops but they were nearly over and the daffodils are only just starting. We visited the inside of the moated house which has an interesting history.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Went to Kilver Court Garden at Shepton Mallet last Friday. Weather was kind but very wet and a poor soul was having to sweep the water (from springs) that was coming onto the paths, so a bit of wet shoes! But it is a lovely garden with a spectacular backdrop of a viaduct. Some lovely acers coming into leaf, a Japanese bitter orange, superb magnolia and so many other plants. Well worth the visit and catching up with a friend. And then it was free!
