Any idea of ID please?

These berries were part of a bouquet I was given recently and I thought I might threw them into the base of a native hedge we've got in the hope they might grow. It would be handy to know what they might be however. Leaves were paired along the woody stem, a mid green colour,  with a pointy tip I think. I'm thinking viburnum, euronymus or cornus perhaps?  Any ideas please?

    Sounds like Hypericum which often comes in bouquets

    Sorry folks, I had uploaded a photo on my phone but strangely have been denied permission to post it!? Presumably they think the berries might be a drug?

    @Loraine3, I think you might well be right, I knew it'd seen it before. I don't particularly want that in my hedge.  Back to the drawing board!
