Chilli Seedlings

My chilli seeds have started to sprout in my seed tray. When it is time to transplant into small pots is it better to hold the seedlings by the leaf or the stem?

I always wait until the seedling has at least two true leaves in addition to the first two seed leaves.

Always handle the seedling by a leave ... never by the stem ... the stems are so easily bruised and crushed, and once that happens you've lost your plant ... if a leaf is damaged it will grow more.
