    Garnet for me too for hardiness, It's now the only one I have left. I love the pretty bigger flowers of some of the less hardy ones but they never survive the winter in Dordogne, which can be colder than in the UK.

    @AnniD, yes, it's definitely Summertime Pink. Have just braved the outside to check the label. Must say, even after really low temperatures last night, the foliage is still looking good. Hardly touched at all by frost. With ours being in front of an arbor and to the side of a large pot, it has formed a lovely big mound and looks very attractive.

    Another vote for P. 'Garnet'. I've had it for more than 20 years and it's really everlasting, unlike various other varieties I have tried and lost after a couple of years!
