sweating indian limestone porch floor in south carolina
we have a new house installed a beautiful indian limestone floor on our covered, screened porch. during the colder months whenever the weather warms the porch floor sweats and stays wet until the weather gets colder . we are unable to use our porch even though we have heaters and a fireplace because the floor is soooo wet. the warm air is condensing on the cold stone. the builder did put down a vapor barrier (plastic) before setting the stone in mortar and sealed the stone. he has since unsealed the stone to help with all the condensation but it has not helped at all. what do we need to do to prevent this from happening
