Tall plants with non invasive roots?
in Plants
Hi there.
I have a new patio which has a 1.5ft wide border between us and the wall to next doors property. I would like to plant something tall here to give us some privacy from next door but am worried about plants with big roots disturbing the new patio. Can anyone recommend something which will grow tall but not have invasive roots? It could be something that climbs up a trellis for example.

I have them growing along a wall on the outside of my property and the roots are definitely not invasive in my experience

You could grow a more vigorous type and gain more privacy if you build a pergola structure at that end of your patio
