Looking for dwarf pear for espalier

Hi there, I am looking to buy a pair of small pear trees to train espalier style. I’m looking for dwarf root stock, and would like to buy bare root. Can anyone recommend a good stockist? I can’t seem to find quite the right thing by googling!

When I did my research I was told not to use a dwarfing rootstock for espaliers as they need a certain amount of vigour to counteract  the horizontal training.

I planted a whip … Concorde (self fertile) on a Quince C rootstock and trained it as an espalier … I’ve been very pleased with it … it started fruiting 4 years after planting. Large juicy delicious fruit.

It occupies an area about 8 or 9 ft wide and has three tiers of branches … that’s all I wanted as it forms a ‘screen’alongside part of our terrace.

If I remember correctly I bought from either Orange Pippin or Chris Bowers … not sure which.
