Nostoc Help Needed

Last year I saw what I thought was seaweed on my car parking space, which is made up of loose chippings/pebbles. Turns out it is something called Nostoc (witches snot) and no weedkiller will work on it, in fact it thrives on it. I really don't want it spreading to my lawn....goggle gave me lots of lists of things that won't kill it..... any advice on something that will please ..... I'm new on here so apologies if this is a subject already being talked but I couldn't see anything.....

I just put a few pinches of table salt on it and within a few days it was dead.
That was last summer and it's not (yet) reappeared

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Take care.
The spray kills it, but the dead nostoc looks the same until it dries out, which can take some time in wet weather. It may come back from spores in the air.
