    What have you tried?
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • I have tried painting it with a special type of paint, and putting up screening in the roof
leaving door and vent open. Still very hot in summer months.
made some progress by putting seed trays under shelving . so to shelter plants

There’s nothing more to be done then,  you could take some panels out to make more air flow.

You could wet the floor, the evaporation will cool it slightly.

What is in the Greenhouse that will spoil fro the heat,  could the plants go outside?

Are you using shade cloth inside or outside? If it's inside then all it does is shade the plants from the sun's light as the heat is still getting through the glass.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Do you have an electrical supply ? If so (and you can afford it !) you could try a fan or fans. There are also solar powered ones available.
@wild edges is right, if you're using a material shading (as opposed to the paint on type), it needs to be on the outside of the glass.

What size greenhouse is it ?

Is there a better location in your garden where your greenhouse would get less sun? A big project to relocate but it might be an option worth considering. Or, you could try growing a vigorous climber on part of the greenhouse to provide natural shade.

How big is it and how many vents do you already have? You may need low level louvre vents as well as roof vents.

If you can put up some shade netting outside above the greenhouse, that will help. You could also just take a few panes of glass out.
