Chinese redbud leaves yellowing - should I be concerned?
I have two fairly young Chinese redbud trees (grown from seed in the summer). Recently they have been drooping a bit, and within the past week I've noticed the lower leaves yellowing and then falling off.
I was worried this was underwatering, but last week I topped them up and saw no change in their condition. Soil looks and feels dry. They are by a window for maximum sunlight, but haven't had much recently owing to the weather. I last checked the roots a month ago and they didn't appear pot bound at the time.
Is this something to be worried about? Or is it more likely to be a seasonal/sunlight related thing?

Chinese redbud Cercis chinensis are deciduous… their leaves turn yellow before falling. Yours are late doing this because they’ve been inside.
