Dividing Rhubarb

Hi,

I was looking to divide my Rhubarb, but it appears to be showing some signs of new growth (see photo).

Would it be ok to divide now or best to wait until it is fully dorment?

    It's fine to do it now if the ground isn't frozen. They can be split from the late autumn until early spring when they start to grow. The growth you see shouldn't begin to grow until spring.

    Yeah, I guess the new  growth is because we had a cold snap followed by it being fairly mild.
