Suggest a rose to me, please
I was given a voucher for a David Austin rose last month and I still haven't picked one! To be honest I've never been that much of a rose person so I have found the website a bit overwhelming. The garden is also very small and quite dark and the best spots are already occupied by other things.
My two ideas are either something that can grow in a north facing area as a "mini hedge", or something that can grow in a large container. I don't really have anywhere to let a climbing one grow.
I already have a ballerina rose (I think that's the name, pink and white and looks more like a wild variety) in the front garden that was planted by the previous owner of the house. So perhaps something with a bolder colour, but I do like the ones with a lot of flowers even if they are small versus the kind that have big showy flowers. Bonus points if it's good for bees and other insects.
