I've got a few plans for next year .

Got a few perennials to move around , rudbeckia herbstone is the first to be moved and replaced with a Tropaeolum speciosum . Lots of others to move its like musical chairs come spring.

Buy some roses  for the pergola - late winter job . Pergola was this year plan

The dry stone wall needs knocking down and rebuilding , I may tackle this in January.

Some new plants to put in I've got in the autumn .

I'd like two new big heavy terracotta pots for the front door , the wind blows the fibrecotta pots over which is damaging them . I'll keep a eye out for some but it may be to expensive for this year.

I could do with some steps building , its a grass slope with stepping stones at the moment , when its wet / snow I more a less have to run down it so I don't slip. whether I get round to the steps this year is questionable need more stone for one .
  • Chickens just poop on paths. At least that is all my neighbour's chickens do, around where I park my car. Oh, and lay their eggs in hidy holes instead of the nest boxes provided for the purpose of.

All the birds poop on our car, now we don't put it in the garage.
However, because my wife is auto-proud, I end up being asked to clean here and there, most times she takes the car out!!
However, I'm guessing it's not chickens. More like seagulls.
  • Goodness, @Perki, that lot should keep you busy! 😁

No changes for me, I will continue with drought resistant plants. The only new thing will be another water butt. In order to achieve this I have to eliminate a big lavender that was the first thing I planted 25 years ago when I moved in this house. It still flowers profusely, but needs must.

@Perki, steady, it's only the middle of January.  Keep going at this rate and you might run out of jobs. 😁
