House plant worms?

I watered my fiddle fig yesterday as it was quite dry and keep finding these worm type creatures on the floor beside the plant stand.
Can anyone suggest what they might be, where they have come from and if I need to take any action to get rid of them or protect the plant?

Hello @kristopher_anderson11096  and welcome to the forum 😊

Did you have your fig outside during the summer, or did you use any garden soil or a bag of compost that’d been stored outside when potting your fig?

Those worms look to me like one of the several varieties of ‘earthworms’ that will do no harm to your plant and may well be helping aerate their planting medium, which will also help with drainage.  I’d pop them out into the garden when they appear … they’ll be happier there … it’s probably what they’re trying to do 😊
