Using mushroom scraps on the garden

I regularly use vegetable scraps in my garden, adding piles to rot down to form compost. Some of the piles are behind shrubs or hedges. I hope this habit would not help to encourage 'bad fungi' such as honey fungus.
Part of my garden is woodland and I am concerned that I might be encouraging problems.

Unless you have Honey Fungus as part of your diet I think you'll be OK. They're all different species, it would be like throwing down Peas and worrying you might get Carrots
