HELP !!! Hedge is dying.. What is the problem

    No don’t feed now … the plants will be more or less dormant. 
    And just one feed in the spring according to the directions on the packet. More than that will
    do more harm than good.

  • If you have an RHS membership they may be able to help. Honey Fungus I believe can be spotted under a microscope. If there are no trees or shrubs struggling in your garden or a neighbours I would hold your nerve for now. If the problem does get worse there are plants that can cope better with Honey Fungus present. RHS have a list on line.

    When moving house should it be reported?
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
  • I have a 40ft hedge fronting my property.  Recently the leaves at one end turned yellow and that seems to be spreading along.  What should I do?

    What type of hedge is it?
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
