Insect ID

Found this little chap in my box of Spanish grapes. Ugly thing,  huge mouthpiece. White stripe down both sides of body and white underbelly.  Very articulate when moving.

It's a jumping spider but doesn't look like our normal native ones. Icius subinermis maybe. I'm not seeing many records from the UK so I guess they like a warmer climate. If you have a local reptile shop they might take it though as jumping spiders make nice pets.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Being a foreign invader,  it’s now in the bin,  had I found it in the garden I would return it there,  but thought twice about a Spanish one.
It did move very quickly .

Now looked up @wild edges link,  it’s definitely that one.  Three white dots on top of head.
