Interesting TV programme

Watched Chris Beardshaw on BBC iplayer last night. A lot already dealt with but still gave an insight into why our soil is so important.
Maybe have a look...
BBC iPlayer - Deep Down & Dirty: The Science of Soil

  • I have recently watched this programme and really enjoyed it.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
  • Soil, bacteria, fungus, insects, worms, are never given a thought by most people but these are what really run the world especially bacteria which our bodies are full of and we couldn't survive without.
  • How about a Worm for PM :  Insects as MP's and because it can be a rampant grower, Bacteria or Fungi in the Lords. Royalty could become trees - majestic but thankfully silent.
Now that would be what could be called an Eco friendly regime  ;)
