crinodendron Patagua seed

I am just about to set some crinodendron Patagua seeds.  Should I set them in ericaceous compost or just ordinary compost and transfer later?

It requires acid soil, so best to start it as it means to go on. Good luck with it, it isn't hardy in these parts.

If you're going to use ericaceous compost to pot them on, I'd use the same to sow the seed.
Then they will have access to nutrients that may not be available in ordinary compost.
