Stuborn weeds on lawn

  @vishagen3031qHljuYlC the weed in question is Lesser Celandine. They are a spring bulb with tuberous roots that can be difficult to control with weedkillers.  You could try Round-Up Gel dabbing the gel on to each leaf.  However they only flower for a short period, usually finishing around the end of April and then disappearing until the next year.

  I don’t recall seeing Lesser Celandine with red stems or that sort of veining on the leaves. The surface texture looks wrong too.

  Thank you for your helpful comments. I found out the type of weed that's in my garden. I currently live in Wales. The weed is called winter heliotrope. Here's the link from RHS:

  That’s what I thought. Regular mowing should deal with it in a lawn. 😊

  Salt and vinegar are best kept for your chips @getinfolists08138.
  Salt, in particular, is a dreadful thing to put on soil of any kind - kills all sorts of beneficial insects.
