Orange fungus on wooden sleeper

Hello all,
I've noticed an orange fungus growing on a wood sleeper which edges one of my beds. Aesthically  I think it looks brilliant, but I'm just wanting to check out whether it's something I need to remove ?

    No point in removing it, it is already ingrained in the bulk of the timber not just on the surface. It will take many years before it causes any structural damage. Embrace nature and enjoy the aesthetics. :)
