    This is clematis Negritianka on our North facing garage wall in August 2023, many clematis will grow happily in a North facing situation

    @Richard Hodson, good to see you posting such lovely clematis photos.
    I am envious of your C.rehderiana - mine never flowered or grew well (not one of yours I hasten to add). Found out years later the reason why - 2 ft down was solid concrete we didn't know about!
