Issue with viewing GW forum

I have recently noticed when trying to read posts on the forum that my screen is jumping about all over the place. When I click on a thread that I want to read it jumps up and appears at the top standing above the others with a gap (which never happened before)  but it is the constant jumping about of the screen that is annoying as it is making me very giddy. I use a PC. I tried signing out and in again. Anyone else noticed this? Any suggestions welcome. tia

I have noticed it but only in the last week. I put it down to the adverts (which I don’t see) loading at the top of the page.

Edit - I have just timed it and there is only 1 second in which I wait for it to ‘jump’ down, I don’t see it as a big deal though 🙂.

Same here - only been happening for about a week.
Agree that it's due to ads that have been blocked

  • I find similar on my iPhone … it just takes the screen a second or two to settle then it’s ok.

I have had this problem on iPad for ages. When changing discussion threads I have to leave the screen to jump about a bit until it settles and then I can view the thread. It's been happening for so long now though, that I'm used to it and let it do its own thing! Don't know why it does it.
  • I've had this ever since I joined last year.
Yes, it bugs me, but I really must learn to SLOW DOWN, and give mobile phone a chance to do its thing.

Good to know, I thought my devices had converted the site to a gaming app or it was something to do with user error!

I’ve just watched my iPad carefully! It only seems to happen when I switch from one thread to another one, just one jump while it organises itself, and often leaves a gap. I also block ads, so it looks like that’s what is happening. Not a problem for me, I just have to wait an extra second or two for it to settle.

Me too. Both the gap at the top and the screen suddenly scrolling several posts on it's own.

I've had this on my phone for a while now. I thought it was the ads jumping into place. Irritating though. Not so bad on the laptop.
