Cutting Grass

Hi
My grass needs cut and today seems like the only day that's dry. However its pretty moist after all the rain and I can't imagine it drying any time soon! Is it best to leave it and wait for a dryer spell to give it a chance to dry out or give it a cut?
Thanks

My lawn is in a similar state and I'm itching to mow it, but the ground is just too soft, spongy and wet and the blades of grass are still bejeweled with dew.
If I tried, the mower chute would get blocked every few feet and it would damage the grass.
So for the time being, I'm going to leave it and hope we get a few dry days in the next few weeks.
I've often given it a final cut in December in past years.

Mine needs doing too. It's forecast dry until Wednesday here so it's on the to-do list for Tuesday, fingers crossed. I'm not working this week so sods law says it'll rain despite the forecast.
Mine often gets the last cut of the year in December and sometimes the first in January or February, if it's growing and not too wet.

Just shows the difference in conditions around the country. We often have no choice but to cut wet grass here - during spring as well as through autumn. If the blades are sharp, it's usually no problem.
Mine was done about three weeks ago, but there's been little growth since then, so it won't be done now until spring. We would never need to cut beyond October.   :)
