Planting a new Erigeron karvinskianus boarder

  • @Silversurfer Lovely! It seems to grow just as well as the white form. I expect it will seed in the same way too when happy.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Thank you for the mention @GardenerSuze. Here's my photo @carolineruthuk19702.  The Erigeron were originally small plants in 9cm pots, planted in early spring. They are growing in sandy, free draining soil and have become well established after about three years, forming a good low hedge which now spills over the wall. They flower from early April to December and remain semi-evergreen over winter.  I cut them down to ground level in March.



    The free draining soil is what they like, they grow all around my garden in sun, shade and semi-shade. They also make good container plants.
