This time last year, my runner bean seeds off my row of beans were in the shed in a box, this year they are still hanging in their pods has green has grass. Be a job for me to collect them hopefully after Christmas. :).

  • I still have them hanging on the vines too!  I planted a much later row when the seeds got wet.  They grew and even yesterday, had flowers and edible beans on them!  In Nov!

  • If you want to collect them for seeds I’d cut the vines and hang them in a dry shed … they’ll never get dry this weather … they’ll just rot.

Wow!  Mine have been picked, shelled and stored for 3-4 weeks.  It just shows what a difference a few miles will make.
