PM FROM SPAMMER

I have a PM appear from a spammer. Never heard of this before. Anyone else had one?
How do I get rid of it?

    I’ve had it happen occasionally. 😡 

    Send a PM to @Catherine Mansley with the Spammer’s name etc … she’ll get the Spammers account deleted. Then just tick Ignore on their profile page if possible.

    @Dovefromabove Maybe they get our names from the Spam Flags Needed thread. Can I click on Leave Conversation? Can't find an ignore button.

    Yes I think we annoy them by flagging 👍 🤪 

    You could click on leave conversation but i don’t think that would stop them starting another one. 

    If you click on their name,  and they’ve not opted for a private profile,  then you should see an option to Ignore them.  

    On the bright side … I never reply and they usually give up after one or two tries.

    Thanks again Dove. Will have another look for the ignore button. Never been able to find it.

    Fran If you click on their profile and then on the small head avatar, you will see the ignore button.

    @Pauline 7. Thank you Pauline. I would never have looked there! I gave up trying to find it a long time ago! Mystery solved.  :)
