Help to identify?

Hello sorry if this is in the wrong place to ask but can anybody help me to identify this tree in my garden. Somebody told me it’s quite rare which led me to think wild service but it’s also a bit lik Cottoneaster Cornubia or Cockspur Hawthorn. Thank you for any answers!

Hello @davidinsull and welcome to the forum.
Does that impressive tree have thorns? If so it could be Crataegus prunifolia or Frosted Thorn.

Are you in the UK. What has been suggested seems like a good match but there may be other possibles if you are in the US.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
